i don't think i could let valentines day come and go without getting my rolling pin & cookie cutters out for some yummy sugar cookie making. so i found this new recipe i wanted to try and thought that since our family of four doesn't need 3 dozen sugar cookies all to ourselves...we'd just package some up and take them around to some friends. well.....that plan quickly changed. emerson was licking the knives like crazy & of course double dipping into the frosting...sprinkles were everywhere...and so were my children's lovely germs. but it was all about fun yesterday...and that's what counts!

i had a dream about you yesterday. i must have lyndsie on the brain because at our church i saw this little hand out and there was a picture of you and chad on there. what the heck?! poster children for byu-i?! anyway, the dream was so funny because you lived kitty corner to my childhood home and i came over and we were wondering why we never hung out. especially because we lived so close. then chad appears and he's wearing his graduation gown and some old jeans. you told me he didn't have any clean clothes because you were taking over his side of the closet for your shoe collection! hahaha so strange, right? well, i know chad was wearing the grad gown because he and i were each other's only friend on graduation day. remember that? we were losers. anyway, thought i'd tell ya. it was so funny.
Yea, we did sugar cookies today too...but we only gave each kid ONE cookie...and trust me, you can't even imagine the amount of sprinkles that Bryson piled up on there...and ate by the way....
i would take your germy cookies any day! so, how do you get your pics so big and how are your posts so wide? I hate that mine always get scrunched...
i didnt know emerson had so many curls-i love it! pretty sure i double dip on all sweets (even the one's i give away!) :) and by the looks of it . .licking your fingers is the way to go-frosting looks yummy!
Your kids are cute as ever Lynds. They are really photogenic too!
