...Friday's Favorites...

As most of you moms out there probably know, nursing your baby in public can sometimes be a BIT awkward...so that's why I love the "Mommy Cover" so much! It has been the greatest thing ever!! They're cute & stylish for one, but then it has this strap that goes around your neck so you don't have to worry about the blanket falling down and exposing yourself to the world! ...the driving range...

Seeing as how Chad got me new golf clubs for Christmas, and since I was pregnant, I've only been able to use them once since then...we decided to go to the driving range to hopefully improve my rusty golf skills. Zac stayed very occupied by being in charge of putting the balls onto the tees...and giving lots of words of encouragement to his mom & dad. I get so frustrated sometimes with the whole golf thing, and when Zac could tell I was frustrated, he'd pipe in and say, "MOM! Don't be like that...be happy. You doing a great job!" (At least he thought so). ;)

Chad has Zac starting young! We may need to work on his swing a bit, seeing as how the club is upside down, but as Zac would say, "My a good golf player!"

...I'm It...

Well, Mrs. Heather Telford tagged me a few days ago, so I'm supposed to share some random things about myself! Hmmm...it's so hard or me to think of things, but here's a few... :)

1. One of my dreams is to be able to tRAveL all around the world...

2. I have incredibly LoNg tOes...so long that people would make fun of my "feet with fingers"...you're jealous I know!

3. Pathetic Story...I cleaned my closet out this spring and came up with 7 garbage bags full of old clothes that hadn't been worn in years...I decided to try making some money off them by taking them to Plato's Closet. I was sure that I would at least make $150...hmmm...wrong! I got a grand total of $6.50. To say I felt stupid is a complete understatement...but, I no longer have problems getting rid of clothes that I don't wear anymore.

4. If I had to choose a fAsT FoOd restaurant to eat at...it would definitely be Arby's...love it!

5. I love having the house decorated at chRisTMaS time, but dread the thought of actually putting the decorations up and taking them down...since it literally takes me a couple of days to do both.

6. I get incredibly aNtSY at the end of church meetings when the closing prayer seems to go on and on and on and on and on....

7. I don't have a MiDdle nAMe and neither do any of the girls in my family...why? I'm not really sure, but I've passed on the tradition to Emerson.

8. I'm counting down the days to Boise State's first game....we're down to 4 days...yes it's ThIS tHurSdaY!! I really can't believe college football is starting...Yay!!

9. I can never turn down dEsSeRt...even if my stomach is literally about to pop...there is always room for a sweet treat, especially chewy chocolate chip cookies.

10. I don't like watching the NeWs unless I really have to...most of the time it just gives me more to worry about.

So there you have it! Now it's my turn to tag some people...

...Friday's Favorites...

Okay, so it's Friday...my favorite day of the week. So I've decided, why not post some of my favorite things on my favorite day of the week? Today, to start it all off, I've decided to share with you my favorite household product...Goo Gone! I'm serious, this should be a definite household must have! I can't tell you how many times I've used it to get things out that you would never think possible. From melted gum in Chad's white dress shirt pockets, permanent marker on the wooden coffee table, crayon on the carpet, pen scribbled all over the toy chest and wall...I literally could go on and on...it's amazing! And it smells good too. You can find it at any grocery store. So...if all you moms out there don't have this in your cupboard, I highly recommend it! :)

...Sunday Walks...

We love our Sunday walks to the park. It's the perfect way to unwind, get a breath of fresh air, and let Zac ride his bike and get out some of that extra energy!

This is the best little bike ever...Zac can pedal and steer, while we still have "control"...it's great, otherwise, who knows what would happen.

Gotta' love the Baby Bjorn...Emerson LOVES this...and it's the perfect thing for a mom who doesn't have enough hands to do everything! But then again, do we ever have enough hands to do everything? Uhhh....let me think...no.

He's our little climber...

On our way home...you should have seen Zac crossing the street up ahead in this picture...we were in a hurry to cross, Chad's pushing him, Zac starts steering his bike every which direction, his eyes are huge, he starts to panic, and cars are coming. Luckily, we crossed safely, but it was pretty funny while it lasted. :)

...Hill Airforce Base...

The other day, Chad flew out to San Diego, so Zac and I took him to the airport...and Zac LOVED looking at the planes. So, we decided to take him to the Hill Airforce Base in Ogden on Saturday. It was so cool, you don't realize how gigantic the planes are, until you're right there next to them. It was awesome...so for those of you in Utah...take a trip up to Ogden, it's definitely worth it! :)

Zac keeps talking about wanting to see the "shark" plane again...pretty cool paint job I must say!

...What?! Summer's Over?!...

It's hard to believe that school has started already! Zac had a great time being able to hang out with and be spoiled by his aunts Kylie & Brooke. Kylie's going to be in High School, I still can't believe it...and Brooke is going into 4th grade already! Time is flying by! Good luck with school girls!

...five years ago today...

The last 5 years have flown by...hard to believe that the next five will probably go even faster! It'll be fun to see where life takes us, but I'm sure it will keep getting better...how can it not when I'm spending it with someone I'm crazy about?!

...Summer Swings..

One of Zac's favorite outings is the "blue park"...it has blue playground equipment, hence the name. The swings are always fun, and this time Emerson got a turn...and she loved it. But then again I think she loves most things...she's a very easy baby, we've been lucky!

...Fridge Makeover...

I don't know about you, but my fridge was driving me crazy with all sorts of odds and ends magnets. Since I look at it practically all day, I couldn't handle it any longer and so I decided to make some magnets that coordinated with the rest of my kitchen...so thanks to Michael's I got the job done! They have all these little wooden circles and rectangles and squares for like 25 cents. So I just painted them all black and then used some "Mod Podge" (another favorite) to adhere different papers onto them. Then I hot glued some magnets (also from Michael's) to the back along with a few additional buttons, flowers, or whatever on the front. With that, I now have some cute, inexpensive, matching magnets for my fridge...Yay!!

So my sister Brynn and I decided that we would be brave and attempt taking some pictures of the girls...it was quite the adventure! Surprisingly enough, we had some actually turn out pretty good...(at least I think so...for being inexperienced and all). I've decided that as long as you have a really nice camera, pretty much anyone can take a decent picture...thanks dad!
