With Christmas coming up, I've started brainstorming about what to get the kids...there are so many fun tOys out there, sometimes it's hard to narrow it down! Last year Zac got toys that he's maybe played with a handful of times...so hopefully we can be more selective this year so we don't end up throwing our money into dumb toys that basically just take up space. But then again, maybe I don't need to buy any toys at all....seeing as how my kids had a gReat time with tiNfoil & paPer baGs...go figure!

I understand your frustrations! I've already started my little research for the best toys with the best prices and the best quality.... I think since Gracie just had a really big b-day party we may try to stick with bedroom furniture and maybe a few toys. Its sooo easy to run out of room! Or end up with toys that nobody plays with!
Ha! So fun... I seriously thought today about getting Sam a wire whisk, a soup ladle, and salad tongs. I'm sure they'd be just as entertaining as any toy, and when he's done with them I can use them!
Oh Lynds, you are funny! We can't wait to see little Emerson and Zac again . . . and you and Chad aren't so bad either :). Love you guys.
It really is true kids are entertained with almost anything!! I still am that way!! :)
I completely understand. I took the kids to the toy store today, and everything they picked out I thought, "Hmmmm....that will last 1 week, that one, maybe 2." It is the simplest things that keep them the most entertained. Let me know if you get any great ideas!
Hey I agree. Lets all just invest in the smaller things in life. We'll see how long that lasts. I I love the pumpkin pics. Cute place!
Kandis
For the longest time Sam's favorite toy was an empty water bottle. Go figure?
I finally made that pumpkin spread that you posted on here a while ago-I love pumpkin stuff and have been meaning to make it forever and last night I finally did. It was so good! Thanks for the recipe!
yeah i figure everyone else is going to get isaac all those meaningless toys...we might as wrap some of the toys he tries to play with right now. really if we bought anything it would only be to say in 20 years, "oh and this is what i got you for your first christmas". Who cares!?!
ha ha! that is too funny. don't you love when they love the boxes better than the toys inside!!
