...calling it crazy...

so it's been a bit of a crazy week...between getting ourselves settled into the new house, zac's double ear infection & eardrum bursting, and emerson's CT scan at primary children's i haven't even tried to find time to do the blog thing. but now it's friday night, the kids are sleeping & doing great...and so i thought i'd post while i have a chance.

we were lucky enough to have some semi-warm days this last week...the snow is finally beginning to melt, and you better believe that we're all a bit antsy for springtime to finally get here! chad didn't hesitate for one second though, once it hit 45 degrees & the sun was out, he grabbed the shovel & cleared off the putting green in the back. yes, that's right, our house has a putting green in the backyard...and yes, it is safe to assume that chad's pretty much in heaven. ;)

and i'm not so sure how i feel about having a trampoline...it's half way in the ground, but still...you watch america's funniest home videos & seriously...and even though we laugh at it, it's not a good thing that so many people get hurt on those things! for now it'll be okay, zac loves it...but my overly cautious self might get rid of it one day.

and little emmy LOVES her baths! she literally gets so excited splashing all over that by the end of bath time, i'm covered with water as well as the bathroom floor...we've had a couple of slipping incidences too, which suprisingly haven't seemed to phase her. she's a crazy one!

Party at your house! How fun to have a little putting green. Nathan would love that too! Heck, Lynds, maybe you can make $10,000 by submitting your own trampoline accident to America's Funniest Home Videos and then it would all be worth it...right!

in answer to shelley's question & in case any more of you are wondering...emerson is in the 25th percentile for weight, the 40th percentile for height and like the 105th percentile for head size!! the doctors have been a bit concerned about it and wanted to just make sure that it's not macrocephaly... which is when the spinal fluid isn't draining out of the skull properly & it can put pressure on the brain & cause problems. but things look fine...we'll keep an eye on it, but it looks like she's just a field baby with a big head...thank goodness! :)

Cute pics! Hope the kids are alright and that everything goes well with Emerson. I'm totally agreeing with you on the trampoline. Yikes! :)

Lyndsie, your blog is adorable! Can't wait to keep up with your little family. Glad Emerson CT scan didn't show anything bad. She's such a beauty! I'll send you my blog link when it's all set up (which will be soon, I started it today!).

A putting green?...seriously Chad, you are so spoiled! Any chance you could keep that a secret from Teyan?

Yeah! We missed pictures of your cute kiddos. I'm glad things seem to be getting a bit better. We have a trampoline (with no fence around) and we ended up taking the legs off so it only came off the ground about two feet. Jeff and I can't jump well but the kids can and I don't worry so much if they fall off (which they haven't yet). Good luck!

I am glad things have slowed down a little for you guys. I am glad your little girl seems to be fine. She is so darling. My kids would love to have a trampoline. Your kids are probably loving it. I would love to see pictures of your house!
