...Bronco the Fish...

So as some of you may know, pOttY tRaiNing Zac has been a very long, drawn out process for us. He hasn't been so sure about going #2 on the toilet...so we've told him that once he gets that down, he'll get to pick out a fish. Well, we are so proud to finally say that HE DID IT!! And he is finally potty trained...well today was his 4th day wearing Lightning McQueen underpants without an accident, so I assume that we can say it's official! Yay!!

Here's Zac at Petco, with his Beta fish "bRonCo"...fitting don't you think?

We couldn't resist buying the oRanGe & bLUe rocks for Bronco's little fish bowl...it turned out to be a pretty cute little home for the guy.

And here's Zac kissing Bronco goodnight. He is LOviNg his first pet...and all day has made sure to let Bronco know where we're going and that "we'll be right back Bronco". But to be honest...I'm not so sure how long our little fish will last. Today Zac has wanted to carry him around everywhere, spilling water a couple of times...and he's wanted to feed him diet coke & crackers. I can't blame him for being so excited, but I've been playing the part of fish rescuer today...so hopefully here soon we can teach Zac what & what not to do with Bronco...and, unfortunately, I'm afraid there's not much to do with a fiSh.

what a great pet -- in fact, it is the only pet my future kids will be able to have - I am totally NOT an animal person, and lucky for me neither is Chip, so we will not be having any other pets but fish in our home. (think we're mean?) I just can't handle animals at all. Exciting that he is potty trained -- he's a super cute kid.

We have "Fred" the beta at our home which he earned by cleaning his room everyday. (works wonders huh?) Mason informs us everytime we get home or wakeup that "Mom, Fred isn't dead" We are on our Fred #3 (#2 that he knows) I woke up one moring with him in complete tears until he realized he got to flush it down the toilet with dad. That I guess was pretty cool after seeing flushed away. Either way it's so funny to watch how sweet and protective they are.

Zac looks so grown up in that picture! Good luck with the fish...my little brother once tried to be helpful and change the water in the fish bowl...he turned the hot water on instead of the cold and cooked the fish! I love the name too!

That is so funny you know Greg --- does he say he knew me from freshman year - because that is the only greg I can think of that i never really knew his last name. If so, I hung out all the time with him back then, cuz I dated one of his friends (an interesting thing that relationship was) but anyways - haven't heard much from or about him since --- nice that he got married - is he in utah? He is such a nice guy!!! Anyhow - it is beautiful out here - and really is the best time of year. Makes me miss Utah a little tho, cuz no place is better than Utah in the fall - and i am excited to come into town November 3-12!!!

I didn't even see the one with him kissing the fish bowl the first time. That is cute. Anyways. I go to Haley Warner. She is Blake Henson's older sister and she rocks at taking pictures. Her website is http://haleyannwarner.com/ so check her out!
