...sunday strolls & magnifying madness...

we love being able to take our sunday afternoon walks again! especially now that we're in a nice, little neighborhood and not off of a crazy busy road...makes it a bit more enjoyable!

zac got a magnifying glass for easter from grandma debbie. he LOVES to take it on our walks to look at all the many interesting things on the ground...like rocks, dirt, candy wrappers, and yes, even dog poop. speaking of the word "poop"...it is officially zac's favorite new word. i ask him what he wants for lunch...he replies..."ummmm....let me think.....poop!" i ask him what his favorite primary song is...he replies..."ummmm...scripture poop!" i tell him that i love him THIS much...he tells me that he loves me "to the poop and back!" and yes, he laughs at himself every time he says things like this...and so do i, even though i probably shouldn't...it's a funny little boy stage!

It's so funny how they know exactly what we don't want them to say and then say it over and over. Grant now loves to say the word "butt". Scary, I know but having 2 older siblings doesn't help. Lucky he is so small that most people don't know what he is saying. Oh the joy of kids!!

that is so funny because Parker went through the same sage....and hasn't fully grown out of it. He'll say the same kinds of things and laugh at himself HISTARICALLY! It's really not that funny, but I can't help but laugh myself. Such good pictures Lyndsie....can you come to AZ and take our family pics ;)

I love the pictures you take!! I think I have been to too many weddings, because everytime I see those awesome pics of Zac I think of how cute his wedding video will be...lame I know. I also LOVE Emerson's bows that she is always wearing. Do you make those? If so I am requesting a how-to post :). When will you be in Boise again?

I am starting to realize that kids really do repeat everything. Everytime I change bryn's poopy diaper I say " eww, gross!" Now everytime I am changing her diaper, you'd better believe it...she says, "Ew, gross!" Kids...they are the cutest!

I am a huge fan of those Sunday walks. It is finally starting to warm up in Idaho Falls, so we have been on a couple ourselves. It is great to spend time together and Jackson love to watch for airplanes and helicopters. I would like you to take a pic. of your black cuboards and post it!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope it was a good one! If you get me your address by tomorrow morning I will mail your prize tomorrow. Otherwise it will be a week because we are going on vacation! Trey is totally down with the poop talk. He can't get enough of it. Love your pictures!

your pictures are awesome! i love the first one.. what a doll.

ok i totally get what you're saying!! i read the reviews before buying the 50 mm lens and knew it wouldn't autofocus on our camera but managed to buy it anyway because it's not that expensive (well... still expensive, but not for a LENS....)you're so right on that half the pictures i take with it are blurry due beacuse of the lack of AF, but it just means you have to take more pictures to get one that turns out not blurry. kina annoying. its dumb they make it autofocus on the nicer nikons but not the d40x. do you know if this is the only lens that does that?! anyway, it is still a good lens if you're quick, and if you do manage to get a good picture that isn't blurry you will love the cool effects it has.. i don't know, its just something you have to decide?! you're thinking of selling your camera, really? i've seen other really nice and expensive lenses that DO focus automatically on the d40x so i wonder why that one doesn't. anyway sorry for the novel. hope that helps?!

oh and a question for YOU. how do you get the vignette and darkening around the edges of your pics? is that something in photoshop... i really need to get photoshop.
