so almost a week later, i'm getting around to posting these pictures. cute annie, a friend of my sister's, is marrying a guy with the last name of grow. so the so-called theme of the shower was based around the saying/song "grow old along with me...the best is yet to be..." you know how it goes. it was so much fun doing it...and i think it turned out really cute in the end...
i saw this idea for the "a" on martha stewart quite a while ago, and i've never gotten around to trying it out until now...i was so excited that it worked as well as it did! the "a" is made out of white chocolate. and i think that i need to give you a "picture tutorial" on the how-to process. i'll try to do that here in the next week or so...really. :)
we had a few different sayings or quotes about love placed around the rooms...just for readings sake...and it made a nice little touch...(or atleast i thought it did)!

lynds i love it - all of it! the glam party the shower!! seriously when i need a good idea for something i always scan your blog. i did a diaper cake for a shower and got those cute bird templates off here. you are such a life saver and you didn't even know it!! :) you have a wonderful talent to makes things extraordinary and so special for people!! keep it up . . i'm gonna need some good ideas with the holidays coming :)

Funny story...
You have no idea who I am, but I was looking at blogs through Amber Warner's blog and I saw your Cuckoo Cafe post and I got chills and excitement up and down my bones. The funny part is that my parents bought this cafe at the beginning of August and are running it now. I was there last week helping and I agree, it is the best food!! So basically I am saying thanks so much for the advertisement, we are trying to get the word out.
Also, I have to say, you are such a talented, crafty person!! I am so jealous, that is one thing I definately wasn't blessed with.
