december '09

december came & went...but we had lots of fun while it lasted. we got our christmas decorations up early, so we could enjoy them longer...which we loved until the christmas tree lights stopped working a week before christmas. that was a very sad moment for me...zac had to keep reminding me that there really are worse things that could happen...so true. but still, the magic was just not quite the same without a lit tree, i'm sorry. but we did spend plenty of time by the tree when it was lit, so that was a plus...

and we were more than happy to welcome our elf, fradden, back for the month of december. zac woke up early every day to find fradden. and emerson is still asking me to find "yadden"...hopefully one of these days, she'll understand that he went back to the north pole until next december. it was sad to see him go...

then we headed to boise for christmas all because this cute little wiseman was going to be there! chad's sister bryn & her husband chris have been living in okinawa, japan for almost a year now. cute little braddock was born last march...so this was our first time meeting the cute little guy. it was very fun getting to see all three of them...a year in between visits just doesn't cut it! :)

and here's our heavenly angel...

christmas morning was very fun...obviously. how could it not be?? grandma & grandpa were good sports to let us take over the front room for a few days...it was hard to keep tidy, that's for sure.
